Of course no trip to Paris is complete until you visit the legendary Laduree. I literally could stare at these gorgeous pastry for hours as if it is a piece of art. It must be the colors. Inside the shop there is a small boutique where you can buy beauty and home products in the legendary flavors. Heaven!
Cafe de Flore is definitely the place to dine and people watch. Again, it was recommended by Ines de Fressange in Parisian Chic and my friend Julia Coney. Being on vacation I had no scheduled agenda (on purpose) so I would lunch for about two hours every day. I would sit down at a cafe and totally lose track of time. It was great and a life experience one should have. Cafe de Flore has it all; stylish people, cozy Parisian cafe atmosphere, gorgeous waiters. Oh, and great food!
